Wilma Jean Reed age 91, of the Helenwood Community, departed this life on Friday, June 1, 2018 at Tennova North Medical Center in Powell, Tennessee. She was born January 3, 1927 in the Paint Rock Community, to the late AY Yancey and Ora Mae Sexton Yancey. She was a member of White Rock Baptist Church. Jean was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was precede in death by her husband, Kennedy Reed; brother, Herbert Yancey; sister, Kathleen Laxton.

She is survived by her children, Mick Reed and wife Teresa, Bruce Reed, Jim Reed and wife Robin, Cindy Lueking and husband James; (3) grandchildren, Christy Tillett and husband Michael, Cole Ipock and husband Deon, Kennedi Reed and boyfriend Connor West; (5) great grandchildren, Kalie Tillett, Allie Tillett, Karson Ipock, Millie Ipock and soon to be Leigha Ipock; sister, Louise Jones; brother, AY Yancey, Jr. and wife Hazel; special sister-in-law, Freda Reed Davis; special friends and caretakers, Melicia Bowling, Rosalind Musselman; special cousin, Raylene Terry; several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends for visitation 5:00 P.M., until time of funeral service at 8:00 P.M., Tuesday Evening, June 5, 2018 in the Chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home in Huntsville with Bro. Jim West and Bro. Jeff Davis officiating. Music will be provided by the Brimstone Boys. Graveside service will be at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday Morning, June 6, 2018 in the Reed Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Michael Tillett, Dean Ipock, Connor West, Jeremy Barnes, Bill Jones, Justin Losey.

In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to the church or charity of your choice.
