Patsy Ruth (Dandridge) Cain, 85, of Duncan passed away peacefully Saturday, May 26, 2018 at her home in Duncan. Funeral services will be held 11AM Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Don Grantham Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at 2PM at Fort Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, Oklahoma. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 5:30-7:30 PM.

Patsy Ruth was born on March 1, 1933 in Geary, Oklahoma to William Oscar Dandridge and Ruthy Lena (Blackwell) Dandridge. Patsy attended Rocky Mountain schools in Stilwell, Oklahoma. She would marry the love of her life Frank Lee Cain on February 4, 1950 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. After her husband’s retirement from the Army in 1969, he worked for the Lawton Public School system and Patsy was a homemaker.

She was a member of the Garden Club of Duncan and she loved to play games, solve puzzles, crochet and watch her favorite television shows, Everybody Loves Raymond and the Young and the Restless.

Patsy is survived her sons, Michael Lee Cain and his wife Jackie Cain of Alexandria, Virginia, Dr. Bryan Lynn Cain and his wife Kathryn Cain of Lawton, Ok, her daughters, Diana Ruth Maguffee and her husband Major Michael Maguffee of Bixby, Ok, and Anita Lucille Cauthon and her husband Dr. John Kean Cauthon; 14 grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, in laws and friends.

Flower girls for the service will be her granddaughters: Christina Cain, Adrianne Freshman, Ashley Owen, Amanda Pack, Courtnay Grider, Brittany Maguffee, Kaitlyn Scrapper, and Kylah Clovis.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Benton Cain, Justin Cain, Brendon Maguffee, Ben Freshman, Asechiah Bogdon, Cody Clovis and Hunter Cain. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Frank Lee Cain; and her parents.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be sent to American Cancer Society; PO Box 22478; Oklahoma City, OK. Published by the Don Grantham Funeral Home.
