David Barrett Dead.
David Barrett, who lived eight miles north of Emporia, died at his home Saturday nght at 7 o'clock. Mr. Barrett was 72 years old, and had been sick only two days. He was an old settler, having lived in the north part of the county for many years. The funeral was held today at the family residence. The interment was in Duck creek cemetery. Mr. Barrett had three sons, who live in Lyon county. They are David and Henry Barrett, of Emporia, and Jacob Barrett, of Olpe.
