His parents were Michael Woods Jr. and Anne Lambert

He married Ann Hamilton January 28, 1768 in Charlottesville, Albermarle, Virginia and they had 11 children

Descendants erected a monument to him at MARSH CREEK Cemetery -- see listing there!
