Andy Miller, age 68, of Trosper, died Tuesday, May 29, 2018 in the University of Tennessee Hospital in Knoxville, Tennessee. He was a son of the late James A. "Jim" Miller and Martha (Bull) Miller, born to them on October 17, 1949 at Warren Camp in Knox County. Andy was a well known and loved retired Maintenance Man for over 24 years at the Christian Care Communities in Corbin; a Member and Deacon at the Warren Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed going to church, staying busy, working around the house, working on his Backhoe, and going fishing at times, and he was a Partner and Co-worker for the J & A Construction Company.
He was preceded in death by his parents: James A, "Jim" Miller and Martha (Bull) Miller; his loving wife: Mae Naomi (Hamilton) Miller of December 27, 2007; his two infant brothers: Cornelus Miller and Isaac Miller; his two sisters-in-law: Iva Mae (Hickman) Miller and Joann (Campbell) Miller; his three nieces: Leslie Ann, Sandra Lynn and Iva Mae Miller; and by his great nephew: Jacob Warren.
He is survived by his two special and loving sisters,
His five loving brothers and by a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews; and many other relatives, and dear friends to mourn his passing. Funeral Services for Andy Miller will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, June 2, 2018 in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Goodin and Rev. Lonnie Maiden officiating. Burial will follow in the Coon Branch Cemetery at Trosper. The Miller family will receive friends at the Hopper Funeral Home after 6:00 P.M. on Friday, and on Saturday after 9:00 A.M. and until the funeral hour. Hopper Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
