Was born September 14, 1913 near Pretty Prairie, Kansas and died November 7, 1996. She was the daughter Oscar M. and Lulu A. Miller Lambert.
A resident of the Cleveland community most of her life, also having lived in Pretty Prairie, Zenda, and Kingman, she was a former cashier at the Kingman IGA.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, Della Chapter Order of the Eastern Star #172, and the Rotary Anns, all of Kingman.
On December 24, 1934, she married Lawrence M. Barton at Pretty Prairie. He died July 6, 1991. Survivors include; a brother Lawrence Lambert; and 2 sisters, Reta Wingate and Mary Albright; 16 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
