Pvt Fred Massey, whose home is 1 mile east and 10 south of Tyrone died at Ft. Bliss, TX October 13 from bronchial pneumonia following influenza. His remains were escorted to Tyrone by Pvt Ira Werner, who returned to camp this morning. The deceased leaves a wife and baby. He had been home on furlough just two weeks ago when he was perfectly well. The funeral services have not yet been decided upon as relatives are waiting for the arrival of a sailor brother.
