"Funeral services for BERNICE COOPER WILLIAMS, of Route 1, DeBerry, will be held at 11 a.m. at Evergreen Baptist Church. Burial will be at Mount Zion Cemetery. Rev. W.H. Harris will officiate. Mrs. Williams died of natural causes on Wednesday, August 21, 1985 at Panola General Hospital in Carthage. She was the daughter of Ben and Nancy Burton Cooper. She was born in Panola County on November 21, 1919. She was a homemaker and a member of the Elysian Fields Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, Joseph Williams Jr. of Los Angeles and Frank Williams of Altadena, California; one brother, Donnie Cooper of Richmond, California; and six grandchildren. Services are under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home."
