Vergie Sizemore
Mars Hill - Vergie Chandler Ford Sizemore, 89, of 134 Holland Creek, Mars Hill, died Sunday, June 6, 2004, at Brian Center Health & Rehabilitation.
Mrs. Sizemore was the daughter of the late Lattie and Etta Burleson Chandler. She was a lifelong resident of Madison County. She was of the Baptist denomination.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, James G. Ford and James Sizemore and two sons, Ernest and Tommy Ford.
She is survived by three daughters, Wanda Raines of Weaverville, Margie Howard of Lavonia, Ga., and Carolyn Hagan of Mars Hill; son, Mack Ford of Asheville; two sisters, Dorothy Creasman of Candler and Orla Boone of Mars
Hill; 24 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchilren.
Revs. Johnny Bud Marler and David Crowder will officiate.
Burial will follow in Chandler Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
