Early Life: Rex was born January 29, 1953, in Payson, Utah, to Lawrence J. and Mae Johnson Rose. He spent his life in the Spanish Fork community and was a graduate of Spanish Fork High School.
Life’s Work | Service | Interests: Rex married Denise Tanner and they are the parents of three amazing children. They were later divorced but remained dear friends. Rex loved his children and was so proud of their accomplishments. Rex was a lifelong member of the Iron Workers Union and was later employed by Interwest Mechanical in Springville, Utah, for 15 years. He loved welding, rebuilding his hot rod, boating, and was also known as the neighborhood caretaker. Rex Lynn Rose, of Spanish Fork, Utah, passed away Thursday, May 24, 2018, surrounded by his family. He was 65.
Survived By: His children: Danielle Lynn Rose, Mathew Lawrence Rose (Shantel) and McKensie Denise Ocana (Joe); seven grandchildren whom he adored; and two brothers: Larry A. (Maxine) Rose and Paul J. (Linda) Rose.
