Obituary -

Steve Rhodes passed away May 27, 2018 surrounded by his family at his home in Tulsa, at the age of 66. He was born February 19, 1952 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to Gene and Ramell (Acton) Rhodes. He was the third of eight children. Steve grew up in West Tulsa and graduated from Webster High School in 1970. He married his high school sweetheart, Michelle. They had two boys, Steve and Chris.
Steve was an active realtor with Keller Williams and had worked for Nabisco, Cain's Coffee, and Guy's Potato Chips. Steve was a talented artist and a gifted musician. He most enjoyed playing guitar, piano and spending time with all of his grandchildren. Steve had an infectious laugh and could bring a smile to anyone's face. He never missed an opportunity to engage someone and to lift their spirits up. Rest assured, he is now in Heaven and the Tulsa Gamblers are playing music again.
Steve is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Cecil. He is survived by his brothers Joe, Bruce, Mike, Art and sisters Marilyn and Virginia; wife Michelle; sons Steve and Chris; grandchildren Brody, Stormy, Carson, Emily, Griffen, and Cooper; great grandchildren, April and Sosa.
A memorial service will be 10am, Thursday, May 31st, 2018 at Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel 5111 South Memorial, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the United Tissue Network Educational Fund, 3401 MacDonnell Drive, Norman, Oklahoma 73069
