Chuck's biggest passion is his family and friends and making sure that their needs were taken care of first, over his own.
Chuck worked for most of his adult life in the concrete business and was very proud to be part of R. E. Monks construction for over 30 years.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Karen Sue; daughter, VeAnn Brown-Torres; son, Daniel G. (Mary) Shackelford; granddaughters, Sarah Boswell (Chris), Jodi Casida (Clifton); grandson, Jameson Brown-Torres; great-granddaughter, Lily Boswell; and a sister, Helen (Max) Montoya.
He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Boyce G. Brown; and son-in-law, Sydney Torres.
Chuck will be greatly missed by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins along with countless friends he considered family.
Services to be held at Sunnyside Christian Church on Friday July 28 at 12pm with burial to follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.--The Colorado Springs Gazette, July 23, 2017
