DEATH CLAIMS ANOTHER COLORADO PIONEER
Mrs. Mary Allen, mother of Ben (Ivanhoe) Allen, died yesterday at her home in Arvada, aged 56 years. The cause of death was cancer, and she had been seriously ill about five months. Mrs Allen was born in Rock Hall, Md., and came to Denver in the early 50's. She had since made her home here, and was much Interested in the growth of the city. Two children survive Mrs. Allen, the son, Ben, and a daughter, Mrs. J. J. Weaver, both ot Arvada. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
