Daniel John Kirby, 57, of Glen Burnie, formerly of Gambrills, passed away on May 21, 2018. He was born in Washington, DC to Marijane Kirby and the late Daniel R. Kirby. He honorably served his country in the Marine Corps from 1978-1982. He enjoyed fishing, watching baseball and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Alison Kirby; and his sister, Lisa Francis.
Daniel is survived by his devoted wife, Melissa; loving daughters, Amy Freshwater (Shawn) and Angela Kirby (Anthony); cherished grandchildren, Kayla, Jayden and Jazmine; beloved mother, Marijane Kirby; and his dear siblings, Sharon Leiter and Michael Kirby.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Tuesday, May 29th, from 4-8 PM. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, 10 AM, in the funeral home chapel. Interment Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville.
