Carol Elizabeth Hannon Owens, age 76, of Inman, SC went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 8, 2018.
Born in Rowan County, NC, daughter of the late Robert E. Lee Hannon and Eva Delitha Walker Hannon Holland, wife of James William Owens, Sr. for 57 years.
Retired from Lyman Mills/Springs Industries after 42 years of service; enjoyed knitting, crocheting, sewing, plants and flowers; was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Landrum, SC.
In addition to her husband, survived by her daughter, Wanda Owens Wofford (Phillip) of Landrum; son, James William Owens, Jr. (Kismet) of Inman; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Frances McSwain of Landrum and Dorothy Bracken of Rockwell, NC; brothers: Rev. Leroy Hannon of Gaffney, Earl Hannon of Indian Trail, NC and Steve Hannon of Rutherfordton, NC.
Preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.
Memorial service was conducted at 1:090 p.m., Friday, May 25, 2018 at Eggers Funeral Home Chapel of Boiling Springs officiated by Rev. Aaron Pruitt. Interment was in Good Shepherd Memorial Park of Boiling Springs.
