"God in His wisdom has again taken visited and taken from our midst Brother G C Doyel on Aug. 28, 1884. He was one of our oldest members, having been a member about 40 years & his seat seldom being vacant. If he had lived until Sept 21 he would have been 71 years old. The church is in sympathy with his wife and children."
