Rhonda Welch Coleman, 48, of Canyon went to be with the Lord Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013, of Amarillo.


Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in First Assembly of God Church in Amarillo with the Rev. Billy D. Nickell, pastor, officiating. Private burial will be in Dreamland Cemetery. Arrangements are by Brooks Funeral Directors of Canyon.


Rhonda was born April 19, 1964, in Douglas, Ariz., to Bud and Betty Welch. She graduated from Pampa High School and Southwestern Assemblies of God University. She married Derek Coleman on June 9, 1990, in Pampa and relocated to Canyon.


Rhonda was a godly and faithful wife, mother and friend to many. She was a member of First Assembly of God in Amarillo, where she served on the worship team and was always willing to serve in any way she could.


Survivors include her husband; two sons; her parents; a sister; a brother; her parents-in-law; two sisters-in-law; eight nieces and nephews; and a large extended family.


The family suggests memorials be to mercyhousekenya.org.


The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today in First Assembly of God Church in Amarillo.
