Pierrette (née Carrière) Des Rivières passed away on September 6, 2013, at the age of 91.

Pierrette is the daughter of the late Eugène Carrière and the late Eva Lagacé. She leaves behind her children: Richard (Estelle), Lynne, Sandra (Jean), Roch and Claude (Sonia); her grandchildren: Michel (Sandra), Christian, Cheryl (Trevor), Jason, Isabelle, Julianne and Éric; her great-grandchildren: Madison, Jade, Dylan and Alexandra; her brother Henri; her sisters: Jacqueline, Marie- Luce and Pauline and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, friends and family.

Pierrette was predeceased by two of her children: Georges and Sandra and her brothers and sisters: Hormidas, Thérèse, Réginald, Laurentien, Marie-Blanche and Suzanne.

The religious service will be held Wednesday, September 18th at 2 P.M. at the St-François-de-Sales church located at 799 Jacques-Cartier St. in Gatineau.

Donations may be made at the attention of the Fondation des Maladies du Coeurs du Québec or to the Fondation Québécoise du Cancer.
