Darlene A. Robinson, 93, of Sioux Falls, SD died Wednesday, May 16, 2018. Private interment will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Sioux Falls.
Darlene Ardis Robinson, daughter of Elmer and Selma (Reetz) Robinson, was born May 26, 1924 in Marion, SD. She received her education in country school near Menno, SD.
Darlene lived in Sisseton, SD for 10 years before moving to Sioux Falls, SD in 1940. She worked for dry cleaning establishments in Sioux Falls for 36 years before retiring in 1986. In retirement, Darlene enjoyed volunteering with the Sioux Falls Senior Companion program for many years.
Grateful for having shared her life are her nieces and nephews, Diane Nebel, Yuma, AZ, Mark Robinson and his wife, Bonnie, Carson City, AZ, Candace Cacaro Scott and her husband, Jerry, Mitchell, SD, Kent Robinson and his wife, Martha, Flagstaff, AZ, Kathleen Dirkson and her husband, Guy, Sioux Falls, SD; and many other relatives and friends.
Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Selma Robinson; a brother, Glen Robinson; and a nephew, Gary Robinson.
