died Saturday at the Webb nursing
home near Orwell where he
had been a patient several weeks.
He was born in Brushton and he
had been an invalid 15 years.
The funeral was held Wednesday,
Sept 7, at the Petrie funeral
home, Hannibal Rev. L. B. Whitney
officiated. Burial was in Hannibal
cemetery(Cato Citizen 9/8/1949) ; enlisted 1918, parents- Adolphus and Sophia(Bartner)Durant, wife Lena; siblings- Fred(Malone, N.Y.) and Mrs. Louise Doiney(Birdgeport, Conn)
