He later worked for Quincy Compressor. He was a member of Machinist Lodge 822.
Other memberships included United States Bowling Congress. His church was Unity Spiritual Life Center.
Kevin Bent enjoyed golfing and bowling. He belonged to Jackson Park golf course in Palmyra Missouri, and to the Cedar Crest country club. He won championships at the latter in 1987, 1988 and 1989 and held the course record at Jackson.
Kevin Bent passed away in a Quincy hospital. Revernd Ron Fritts presided over funeral services held at Zehender-Stormer-Cookson funeral parlor in Quincy. Cremation rites were then given.
