MAYSVILLE — Charles R. “Bob” Fritz, 90, passed away Sunday May 13, 2018, at the Care Center at Kenton Point.
Bob, the eldest of six children, was born Feb. 21, 1928, in Ripley, Ohio, to the late Charles and Katherine Klump Fritz.
He was retired after 38 years at Kroger where he worked as head grocery clerk. In 1953, he married Frances Byron who died in 2005.
Survivors include his sons, Russell A. “Rusty” Fritz and his wife, Kay of Aberdeen, Ohio; and Kelly M. Fritz of Las Vegas, Nev.; a sister, Virginia Poole of Ripley; and a brother, James Fritz of Chesapeake, Ohio.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Bernard and Raymond Fritz; and a sister, Katherine Ann Turner.
Services for Charles R. Fritz will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 17, 2018, with Rev. Jacob Straub officiating.
Burial will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Hope, Maysville.
