Doris Ann Lawson, 80, passed away at her home in Sapulpa on May 4, 2018. She married Roy Lawson on November 10, 1954 and was a loving wife, a loving mother to their 3 children and loving nanny to 10 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

Doris was born in Dewar, Oklahoma to William "Bill" and Grace Goodman on April 26, 1938. She attended Dewar Public Schools. She loved square dancing, camping, traveling, bowling, OU sports, OKC Thunder and Tops Club. She was in Tops Club more than 30 years and spent more than 50 years bowling.

Doris was preceded in death by her father, mother, brother Billy Joe, brother Johnny, son Bud, daughter Brenda, grandson Michael, granddaughter Erica, son-in-law Larry York and brother-in-law Jerry Adams.

Special Thanks to Good Shepherd Hospice for their wonderful care and to Melvin for singing Amazing Grace to Doris. Also thank you to First Baptist Church for the many kind words and prayers.

Funeral Services: Thursday at First Baptist Church (Sapulpa) followed by burial in Green Hill Memorial Gardens.

The family has entrusted the services to Green Hill Funeral Home.
