LEROY - Glen Gregersen, 67, LeRoy, died Sunday, Aug. 31, 2003, at Burlington. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Northcott Church east of LeRoy. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Jones Funeral Home in Burlington. Memorials may be made to Coffey County EMS.

LEROY
Glen E. Gregersen, 67, of LeRoy died Sunday, Aug. 31, 2003, at Coffey county Hospital in Burlington.
Mr. Gregersen spent most of his life in the LeRoy area, where in his early years, he farmed and raised livestock. He lived in Emporia for several years before he returned to LeRoy. For the past several years, he traveled around the country, working at nuclear plants during outages. Earlier, he worked at Gates Rubber in Iola and was a welder at Berico in Waverly.
Glen E. Gregersen, the son of Harry Hansen and Violet Gillespie Gregersen, was born Feb. 25, 1936, in Neosho Falls. He married Clara L. Holding on Feb. 16, 1974, in LeRoy.
Mr. Gregersen was a member of Northcott Community Church, east of LeRoy.
He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Cindy Gregersen and Linda Gregersen, both of Emporia, and Teresa Owsley of Leadville, Colo.; a son Steven Gregersen of Big Fork, Mont.; a stepdaughter, Julie Davis of Emporia; three stepsons, Darren Lowry of Emporia, Jerry Ellis of Circleville and Rodney Lowry of Derby; an adopted son, Jeff Boling of LeRoy; two sisters, Virginia Christy of LeRoy and Shirley Moore of Gridley; 21 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A brother, Gene Gregersen, died earlier.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Northcott Community Church. Burial will be in Logue Cemetery, east of LeRoy. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday at the Jones Funeral Home in Burlington, where the family will meet with friends from 7 to 8 p.m.
