REFUGIO - Julia Leslie Williamson of Houston, Texas was born on 10th of December 1924 and passed away on Friday, the 4th of May 2018, at Methodist Hospital, in Houston TX.

In recent years, Julia was an active community member at the Forum of Memorial Woods, in Houston, TX. Prior to that, Julia lived and raised her family in Refugio, TX. There, she was an active community member and business owner. She opened and ran the Henderson's department store for a number of years, and later served as mayor of the town of Refugio. Julia loved to entertain, and enjoyed hosting friends, family, and her weekly bridge club in her home.

Julia was proceeded in death by her mother and father Adelia Dunlap and Herbert Corbett Dunlap; her husbands Joseph Clyde "Ike" Henderson and William Richard Williamson, her daughters Judy Ann Lehmann and Della Henderson Hess.

Julia will be remembered for her humor, elegance, and devotion to her family. At a later date, the family will gather for a private memorial service and interment at Oakwood Cemetery in Refugio, Texas.
