Olivia Smith-Webster, 93, of Salem, Va., and formerly of Blue Ridge, Va., passed peacefully with her family at her side on Monday, November 14, 2016. As the last of the nine Hutcherson children, she was predeceased by siblings, Mabel, Louise, Elizabeth, Clara, Doris, Alma, Oscar and Reginald; her husband, James S. Smith; and son, Jerry S. Smith. Olivia was an avid and faithful member of the Kirk Family YMCA. She lived a full and happy life, known for her style and sense of humor. Surviving are daughters, Robin Williamson and husband, George, of Roanoke, and Cindy Exstrom and husband, Gus, of Vinton; stepgrandson and wife, Jeff and Kelly Williamson; step-great-granddaughter, Kendra Grace Williamson, all of Inver Grove, Minn.; granddaughter, Katie Flynn and husband, Pete; great-grandchildren, Noah and Emerson Flynn; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the staff of Friendship Health and Rehab Center South for their great and loving care of Olivia and for the love and support of all her friends at the Y. A Graveside Service for her family will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, November 18, 2016, at Mountain View Cemetery, Vinton. A Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, November 18, 2016, at the Vinton War Memorial. A celebration reception will follow until 5 p.m.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kirk Family YMCA, 520 Church Avenue, SW, Roanoke, VA 24016.
