Tinkie, age 88, passed away on her birthday at Windsor Place in Coffeyville. She was the daughter of James and Vurby (Brentlinger) Wadkins. She married Chester Owen on June 8, 1946, in Independence, Kansas.
Survivors include her children, Jim Owen, Bobby Owen, Pamela McCullough, and Lyndia Letterman, 8 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her brothers, Dallas Wadkins and Clarence Wadkins.
Graveside services were held at Fairview Cemetery Veterans Memorial Patio. Burial followed at Fairview Cemetery.
