Donna Geneene Eubanks passed away suddenly on Thursday, April 12, 2007. She was born in Oklahoma City on August 15, 1937 to Thomas and Lillie Gooch. Geneene married Jim Eubanks in September 1971. She attended Central High School and earned her bachelor's degree from Abilene Christian College. She retired from Farmers Insurance after working more than 30 years in the industry. Geneene was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and servant of God. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, crafts, genealogy and spending time with the love of her life, Jim. Geneene was preceded in death by her parents and first husband, Bill Church. Survivors include her husband, Jim Eubanks; brother Tom Gooch and wife Sue Gooch; daughter, Lisa Roberts and husband Daniel Roberts; two step-daughters and their spouses, Pat & Dick Babcock and Becky and Charlie Tuzik; and one granddaughter, Ava Roberts; two step-granddaughters Alicia Babcock and Emily Tuzik; nephew Tommy Gooch and niece Melinda Gooch; and several cousins. Geneene's sweet nature, sparkling eyes, bright smile and beautiful soul will truly be missed. Funeral services will be held at Memorial Road Church of Christ in Edmond on Monday, April 16, 2007, at 10:00 am and burial is to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Oklahoma City. Services are under the direction of the Matthews Funeral Home, Edmond, OK.
