Josie was born to Levie and Rosie (Jones) Johnson. They preceded her in death.
Josie enjoyed playing bingo and watching old westerns.
She leaves three sons, Dominique, Joe and Dedrick Cooper; two daughters, Mary and Orill Cooper; three brothers, Ivory "Bud" Johnson, Samuel (Billy) Johnson and Sam (Bob) Johnson; three sisters, Alice Smith, Dorothy (Willis) Bettis and Martha Johnson: sixteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of other family members and friends.
In addition to her parents, Josie was also preceded in death by six sisters and one brother.
