---------------------------------------
The Reading Eagle Newspaper carried her obituary November 12, 1913, page 4/18. As follows:

Mrs. Lydia Berg (nee Bowers), widow of Joseph Berg, died of typhoid fever, 2:45 am today in the homeopathic Hospital, aged 20 years. Undertaker Seidel removed the remains to her home, 357 North 8th Street.
Deceased had been suffering with the disease for only a short period, and the rapid inroads it made surprised the physicians in attendance.
She was a native of Montgomery County, and only lived in this city a few years. Deceased was a daughter of John and Annie Bowers, and was a member of the Reformed denomination. A two-year old son, Leroy survives, besides her parents and one brother, Claude, and three sisters, Lizzie, Mamie, and Stella Berg, all of this city.
