Seth M. Perry, who for 17 years has been a Justice of the Peace in Clark County, Mo., has become known as the 'Marrying Justice,' due to the frequency with which he performs marriages. Perry has married 803 couples and he has kept in touch with some of them, the majority of which have remained 'hitched.'
"Perry says he would be happier if he could get every marriageable couple in the district together, for he believes that happiness lies only in normal married life.
"Clark County borders Iowa and Illinois and many couples come to him from those states to be married. The Justice tomorrow will celebrate his 79th birthday.
