Photograph of Benjamin Franklin DeVane, Sr. (1794 - 1878). This copy was sent to me by Dwight Moody DeVane (1920-1990). Benjamin F. DeVane, Sr. served in the War of 1812. The United States Daughters of 1812 Chapter 343 - Florida is named in his honor. His first-cousin, also names Benjamin R. DeVane also served in the War of 1812 in North Carolina.
