Ruby Marion Snyder

Ruby Marion (Jones) Snyder passed away in her 100th year on May 1, 2018. Born on the Jones Homestead, November 17th, 1918 she lived nearly all of her life in or near Huntley, before moving to Happy Valley, Oregon in 2012. Ruby graduated from Huntley Project High School in 1936 and attended teacher training school, before marrying Max Snyder of Fort Peck, Montana.
She was preceded in death by her parents Elsa and Alfred Jones, her brothers Bill, Bob and Dick; her sisters Irene and Lois; Max, her husband of 62 years and a son, Danny. Ruby is survived by her children Dean Snyder (Mary) of Golden, Colorado; Ronda Morgan (John) of Happy Valley; Crystal Osborne (Chris) of Mill Creek, Washington. Also surviving are Ruby's four grandchildren and their spouses: Brenda Brunner (Matt Shanks) and Troy Morgan (Autumn) of Oregon; Sheri Rabolt (Rob) and Britt Snyder (Leslie) of Colorado; three great-granddaughters: Reagan Snyder of Colorado and Morgan and Maya Brunner of Oregon were a constant source of joy in Ruby's life. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held 11am Saturday, May 5th at the Smith Funeral Chapels at 925 South 27th Street. Interment at the Huntley cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Huntley Park Fund or the Huntley Methodist Church.
