Tulia, Texas - Francisco "Chacho" Gaitan Esparza, 78, passed away on Thursday, April 26, 2018 in Amarillo. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 30, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Rev. Gilbert Del Toro officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia.

A prayer service will be held on Sunday, April 29, 2018 from 5:30 to 7:00 pm in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel.

Francisco was born on January 16, 1940 in La Mesa, Texas to Emilio and Consuelo Esparza. He worked to provide for his siblings and worked at Hutto Chisom Well Service as a mechanic. Francisco played the Bass guitar and loved music. He enjoyed hot rods. Francisco will be remembered by his smile and the twinkle in his eye.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; Ismael Esparza and Jose Luis Ramirez, three sisters: Angelita Veles, Marianita Gonzales and Irene Rodriguez.

He is survived by three brothers: Elias Esparza, Juan Ramon Esparza and Jesus Esparza, two sisters; Sylvia Ramirez and Elva Moreno and many nieces and nephews.
