Obituary.

John Child Buckle was born in England, August 10, 1831, came to the United States with his parents when a young child first settling at Rochester, N.Y., later moving to Ohio then to West Virginia where they resided for fifteen years. Mr. Buckle was married to Miss Harriet Coverston on March 7, 1860 at Northup, Ohio, and they moved to Kansas in 1883, settling on the farm Northeast of Stafford where they resided continually until his death last week.

Mr. and Mrs. Buckle celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary in March of this year. Six children were born to them all of whom are living and they together with the widow survive him. The children are: G.W., W.T., E.A., and C.F. Buckle and Mrs. Carrie Main, all of Stafford, Mrs. Mattie Dellinger of Jerome, Idaho.
