Stever, Muriel (nee. Walker) Peacefully passed away at her residence, Nithview Community, New Hamburg, on Monday, November 20, 2017 at the age of 89. Muriel Stever was born in Mornington Township and was the daughter of the late Roy Walker and former Jenny Strathdee. Beloved wife of the late Clayton Stever who predeceased her on February 15, 2014. Dear mother of Brian and his wife Heather of Milverton, Suzanne McLaughlin and her husband Kim of Kincardine, Kevin of Linwood and Bonnie Stever of Holland Centre. Loving grandmother of Shane (Ila) Stever, Shannon Stever (Ben), Christianne Stever, Chad (Alison) McLaughlin, Matthew (Stephanie) McLaughlin, and great-grandmother of Allen, Payton, Morgan and Max. Muriel was predeceased by her 3 sisters; Helen Lamb, Margaret West and Thelma Walker. She will be dearly missed by the Stever family, her nieces, nephews and friends. Muriel was and active member of St. Peters Lutheran Church, Linwood, and spent many years on the Lutheran Church Womens group. She loved dancing and cooking for all occasions. Muriel was a teacher in a 1 room school house for a total of 8 years.

Friends and relatives may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 7 Spencer Street, Milverton on Sunday, November 26, 2017 from 1 – 4 p.m. The funeral service will commence at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Linwood on Monday, November 27, 2017 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church Cemetery.
