She was born Feb. 23, 1938, at Lafayette, to the late
Daughter of Floyd and Ruth Marie Sparger Bennett.
Married Adrian Sparks June 8, 1963. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include children, Marie (Jackie) Steele and Mark Sparks (companion Stephanie); granddaughter Tanikka Sparks (companion Tom), whom she raised; seven other grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers Floyd (Mona), David and Mike Bennett; sisters Cheryl (Roger) Liles and Regina Barnes; brothers-in-law George Marrs, Layton (Sharon) Sparks and Charles (Vickie) Sparks; sister-in-law Mary Ann and Cindy Sparks; several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by brothers Lloyd Deane and Jimmy Bennett, sisters Barbara Marrs and Bonnie (Walter) Conkright, brothers-in-law Morris Sparks, Rosco (Evelyn) Purdue and Earl Sparks .
She worked in the nursing home and health care setting for most of her life.
Funeral services 2pm Thursday, April 26 at Servies and Morgan Funeral Home, Ladoga, with Tyler Davis officiating.
Visitation noon until time of service.
