Audrey Loreeta "Weeta" Reed, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2018 at Dell Seton Medical Center in Austin, Texas. She was 85 years of age.

Weeta was born on June 26, 1932 in Bee Cave, Texas to Josiah Hutson and Ina Belle (Simpson) Hutson. Weeta was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to many. She was a dedicated homemaker successfully raising 5 children and caretaking for many others throughout the years from within her home.

Weeta was a true one of a kind individual. She can be forever remembered for her love of faith, family and of course her smile. She had a sense of humor unmatched by any other. Her favorite pastimes included watching all kinds of birds in the yard and enjoying all varieties of colorful flowers. Weeta was an excellent cook known for many things, especially her Banana Pudding Recipe. Her greatest accomplishment was her family and she loved each of them dearly. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Weeta is survived by her children, four daughters: Ferol Martin and her husband, Tommy; Jeannine Goodrum; Denise Taddeo and her husband, Michael; and Gaye Tharrett; one son, Bo Reed and his wife, Renee; ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and many other extended family members and close friends.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Reed.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, Pflugerville. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 26, 2018 in the Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home with her son Bo Reed officiating.
