ARNAUDVILLE ~ Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 26, 2018 at an 11:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville for Dorothy Richard, age 74, the former Dorothy Mae Lanclos, who passed away Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette.
Interment will be in St. Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville.
Mrs. Richard was a native of Leonville and lived most of her life in Arnaudville. She was a parishioner of St. Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville. She was a fantastic seamstress and loved to bake. She will be dearly missed by all whose lives she touched.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Michael Richard of Arnaudville; three sons, Keith Richard and wife, Kimberly, of Richmond, TX, Kyle Richard of Arnaudville, Kevin Richard of Katy, TX; four grandchildren, Brooke Richard and wife, Kayla, Kellie Richard, Kristen Champagne and husband, Brandon, Justin Richard and wife, April; nine great grandchildren, Madison Richard, Sage Champagne, Kaden Champagne, Myah Richard, Tori Dauphinet, Layne Champagne, Ali-Kaye Champagne, Triston Richard and Krew Gros; four brothers, Nathan Lanclos and wife, Mary Alice, of Leonville, Donald Lanclos and wife, Kathy, Bobby Lanclos and wife, Judy, Marshall Lanclos and wife, Ida, all of Arnaudville; and two sisters, Mary Richard of Leonville and Regina Leblanc of Arnaudville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Lanclos and the former Regina Periou; and one brother, Joseph Lanclos.
