Funeral services for Talbert B. Scenters, 62, of 1701 Harrisonville Ave., Portsmouth's fourth traffic victim in 1956, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Emrick Funeral Home.
Rev. George Gullett will officiate. Interment will be in Scioto Burial Park.
Mr. Scenters died in Portsmouth General Hospital early Tuesday after being struck by a car in front of his home Monday night.
He is survived by his wife, the former Blanche LeMaster; his mother, a son, two daughters, two brothers, four sisters, and 12 grandchildren.
Mr. Scenters was preceded by his father and his first wife, the former Della May Lovely, who died in 1930. Friends may view the body at the funeral home.
