Rita Ann Hall, 44, of Stevensville, Montana, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2018, at the Village Health Care Center. She was born February 3, 1974, in Subic Bay, Philippines, to Michael Hall and Felisa Matthew. Rita’s family moved to Charleston, South Carolina, where she was raised until the family moved to Stevensville when she was 13. She graduated from Stevensville High School and became a Bobcat and earned her degree from Montana State University in Bio-Medicine. She married Dale Pfau in November of 1992. After graduating, they moved back to Stevensville and Rita went to work for Community Medical Center as a secretary in the Mammogram Center. She left the hospital and went to work for Advanced Imaging when it opened in 2003. After her separation in 2010, Rita and Justin Uriarte (daughter Jade) began seeing each other and she remained with him until her death. Rita was very involved in her community and the Catholic Church. She loved working with children. She served as the Religious Education Coordinator for St. Mary’s Mission Parish and as the Director of the High School and Junior High youth groups. She traveled with them to various conferences and gatherings throughout the state and country. She started a free lunch program to serve the children of Stevensville and the surrounding communities with a healthy lunch option during the summer months.

Rita is survived by her son, Jalen Pfau, Stevensville, MT; mother, Felisa Matthew, Charleston, SC; father, Michael, of Las Vegas, NV; and brother, Michael Hall, of Mesa, AZ; her siblings in Charleston, SC: Lisa Matthew, Jessica and husband Eric Riddle (Kelley and Aaliyah), Robert Matthew and wife Jessica, and David Matthew. Additional family includes Jim and Pat Pfau, Jaime(Hank) Praast and Christa(Craig) LeCoure and nieces and nephews.
