Mrs. Rubie Rikard Davis, 95, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2018. Born in Lexington on December 24, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Simuel D. and Mertie Goff Rikard. She was predeceased by her husband: Leonard O. Davis; and son: Rodney L. Davis.

She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, former Sunday School Teacher, member of the Golden Agers, and active church worker. Mrs. Davis previously lived in the Bethlehem Community for 20 years, was a homemaker and retired from J. B. Martin Co.

Surviving include her daughters: Wanda Jacqueline Davis and Phyllis Marlene Davis (Eric) Hartley; sister: Alice B. Shealy; sisters in law: Marian Taylor, Judy Davis and Frances Rikard; 3 grandchildren: Shelley (Mike) Barry, Lacey (Kevin) Clowdis and Jena (David) Fisher; and 2 great grandchildren: Chloe Fisher and Arthur Barry.

Funeral service will be conducted 4 PM on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at Bethlehem Baptist Church with the Rev. Justin Eshlehman officiating. Burial will follow at Ridge Crest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM on Monday, April 23, 2018 at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethlehem Baptist Church, 607 Bethlehem Road, Batesburg-Leesville, SC 29006. Barr-Price Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
