1861: Living on the High Street, Chipping Barnet, Charles, Corn Merchant, his wife Ellen and seven children were listed: Charles, Emmeline, Fanny, Georgiana, Florence, Harry and Jesse. (A daughter Ellen Sarah had died at the age of two years in 1851).
14 April 1865: Charles died in Surrey aged 43 years.
