Terri Tolleson Martin, age 63, of Kearney, NE, died Thursday, April 19, 2018, at Kearney Regional Medical Center.

Born November 25, 1954, in Shelby, NC to the late Clarence R. Tolleson (1918–1991) and Della Mae Lail Kerr Tolleson (1911–1999).

Graduated from Shelby High School and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and was a registered dental hygienist in North Carolina practicing for several dentists across the state.

Terri loved God, participating in the church's women's club, horses, fishing, camping, the beach, shag dancing, and judging barbecue as a KCBS master certified judge in the Southeast and Midwest United States, but most of all, Leon.

Survived by her husband, Leon Martin; stepdaughters, Amanda Lea Marlow and Lori Gayle Abbott; stepgrandchildren, Steele McNeilly and Mattie and Tilley Abbott; sisters, Maxanne Kerr Morrison and Lynn Tolleson Hughes; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Also preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Eugene and Julia Tolleson; maternal grandparents, Calvin and Julia Ann Lail; and brothers, C. Reid Tolleson and Thomas Clifton Kerr (1932–2012).

Graveside services were held on Monday, April 23, 2018, at Cleveland Memorial Park in Shelby, NC.

Memorials could be made to Anchor Church, Wilmington, NC.
