She was born July 1, 1905, in Waverly, the daughter of William A. and Nellie Mitchell Taylor. She married Loren R. Moody on May 27, 1928 in Jacksonville.
She is survived by her husband; one son, Kawyn K. Moody of Jacksonville; one daughter Mrs.James (Elinor) Swain of Jacksonville; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by five sisters and one brother.
Mrs.Moody attended Normal University and taught for four years at a Towanda School and later at the Independence School, northeast of Jacksonville. She was a member of the Literberry Christian Church, the Worthwhile Club and the Clio Aid. She also worked as a bookkeeper at Moody implement for several years.
Burial at Memorial Lawn cemetery.
