VIGO PARK - Hazel Marie Gardner, 84, died Sunday, April 24, 2005, in Claude.
Services were at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Vigo Park Methodist Church with the Rev. Kyle Brock, pastor from Lockney, officiating. Burial was in Vigo Park Cemetery by Wallace Funeral Home of Tulia.
Mrs. Gardner was born Feb. 6, 1921, in Memphis. She married Orvall West Gardner on April 22, 1944, in Claude.
Survivors include two sons, Gary Gardner and Dan Gardner, both of Vigo Park; two daughters, Myrla Gardner of Vigo Park and Becky Bivens of Little Elm; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three brothers, M. S. O'Dell Jr. of Minden, La., Glen O'Dell of Amarillo and Dale O'Dell of Highland Falls, N.Y.; and four sisters, Mateel Brown of Amarillo, Mariam Palmer of Hayward, Calif., Myrl Blackwell of Midwest City, Okla., and Vesta Orr of Auburn, Maine.
The family suggests memorials to Vigo Park Methodist Church; or Vigo Park Fire Department.
