Linwood Rollins, 58, of the 4600 block of Fern Oak Court, died Feb. 8, 2007, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. Born in Capron, Mr. Rollins retired as a salesman for Ted Lansing Corp. He was a member of Union Baptist Church, Virginia Beach. He was predeceased by his father, Clarence L. Rollins and sister, Vivian Artis. Survivors include his wife, LaVerne C. Rollins of Virginia Beach; two daughters, Teri Flemings and Shanell Wright, both of Virginia Beach; two sons, Craig L. Rollins and Comeron Rollings of Norfolk; a stepson, Levar Wright; his mother, Ruth Claude Holmes of Norfolk; a sister, Dorothy L.R. Graves of Norfolk; two brothers, Willie Lee Rollins (Hazel) of Boykins an Dalious Rollins (Suzette) of Norfolk; seven grandchildren; seven uncles; five aunts; a host of nieces and nephews; two sisters-in-law, Shirley Smith and Gloria Burdette; two brothers- in-law, James Conley and Warnell Conley. A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Union Baptist Church, Virginia Beach, by the Rev. W. Samuel Walton. Burial will be in Colonial Grove Memorial Park, Virginia Beach. Community Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is in charge. He was known in the community as a generous person always looking out for the elders.
