Mr. Fahs had been a sufferer from asthma for over three years, during which time he was unable to preform any work. About four months ago he went to Denver, where it was hoped the higher climate might benefit his health. After a short stay at Denver he was advised to go to Colorado Springs. The change however, brought no improvement in his condition. He was then advised to leave Colorado. Preparations were being made to bring him to his home in Milton, but he died before leaving Denver. He was aged 47 years.
The remains are on the way to Milton and upon their arrival burial will be made in Harmony cemetery. The funeral services here will be conducted by the Rev. M. A. Kennelley, of Lewistown, a former pastor of the Milton United Evangelical Church.
Surviving are his wife, one daughter, Helen May; his widowed stepmother at Bainbridge, following brothers and sisters, W. H. Fahs, of Leesburg, Fla.; Mrs. Harry Mechor, of Harrisburg, and the following step-brothers and sisters: Charles Fahs, of Leesburg Fla.; George W. Fahs, Mrs. Ira Brown, of Philadelphia; Edward, Luther and Mable Fahs, of Bainbridge, PA.
