The body is being brought to Marion and will arrive before noon Saturday. Funeral services will take place at the late home, 819 East Center Street at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon. Burial will be in Marion Cemetery.
The automobile accident which resulted in the deaths of the Marion couple, occurred when the machine, driven by Dr. Newhouse, figured in a collision with a car driven by Harry Lee, of Plymouth, Michigan. Dr. & Mrs. Newhouse and their daughter, Mrs. F.E.Wright, of Detroit, were enroute to Detroit from Holgate, Ohio. Mrs. Wright escaped with minor injuries.
Mrs. Newhouse, a native of Delaware county, was born Jan. 13, 1852, to Mr. & Mrs. William McGee. her marriage to Dr. Newhouse took place July 2, 1877. Dr. Newhouse, who was 73 years of age, was one of Marion's oldest practicing physicians. Both he and Mrs. Newhouse were members of the Epworth M.E. Church.
Surviving them are three daughters, Mrs. F.E. Wright of Detroit, Mrs. E.H. Bobnet of Ann Arbor, Michigan, and Mrs. Noble L. Wood of Summit Street; a ister, Mrs. Cora Bonner of HOlgate, O.; and two granddaughters, Miss Phyllis Wood and Miss Eileen Bobnet.
