August 4, 1929 - April 16, 2018
Our sweet and loving mother and grandmother passed away peacefully on April 16, 2018 surrounded by her family. So blessed to have held her hands through her last three days. Though we will miss her every day, today we are rejoicing that her body and mind are healed and she is in heaven with our Lord and Saviour and our daddy (her husband), Richard P. Snyder. Momma's favorite times were spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a faithful member of East Brent Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for 30 years.
She is preceded in death by: Richard P. Snyder (husband), Edna Elkins (mother), Watson Elkins (father), Leon Cornell (sister), Eva Smith (sister), Willis Elkins (brother), Nancy Bosse (sister), and life long and best friends, Jim and Mac Snyder.
Survivors are: Son, David Snyder (Patty); Daughter, Debbie Wise (Randy); Grandchildren, Caleb Wise (Megan), Shay Stallworth (Matt), Landon Wise (Tricia), Abby Moore (Brian) and seven great grandchildren, Will, Edy, Levi, Ellie, Harper, Caden and Grayton.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 9:30 – 10:30am at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North with funeral services immediately following at 10:30 with Brother Dale Patterson officiating. Interment will follow at Pensacola Memorial Gardens.
